ProTrans International Inc., ExpandsOperations into Mexico

INDIANAPOLIS, November 1, 1999 - In the past few months, ProTrans International has made considerable steps with our expansion into Mexico. One major step was the formation and registration of ProTrans de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., which occurred on September 27, 1999. The addition of a 98,000 square foot warehouse and Service Center in Monterrey, Mexico, and the opening of sales offices in Guadalajara and Mexico City, Mexico, also illustrate our efforts.

The incorporation of ProTrans de Mexico is the first stage in building name recognition south of the border. ProTrans International is currently interviewing accounting firms and insurance agencies as well as soliciting employee applications to fill the needs of our Mexican operations.

The Service Center in Monterrey will be the catalyst and benchmark for all future operations in Mexico. This facility will allow all sales personnel to have a working, hands-on operation that they can demonstrate to all potential clients.

Opening the sales offices in Guadalajara and Mexico City completes our initial step into the Mexican market. Guadalajara is considered and promotes itself as the Silicon Valley of Mexico. With such companies as HP, IBM, Philips, Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Kodak and Solectron located there, it is easy to see why it advertises itself this way. Of all of the Mexican markets, Guadalajara has shown the most dramatic growth increase in the past three years, with a 46% increase in new business development in 1998.

While visiting companies in the Mexican market, it became obvious that in order to compete, ProTrans International had to make a commitment and show a presence in Mexico. The registering of ProTrans de Mexico and the opening of these three new sites is but the beginning of the rise of ProTrans International south of the border.
