in BKD Indiana Excellence Awards

Plainfield, IN, October 7, 2004 – ProTrans International, Inc. has been named silver winner in the BKD Indiana Excellence Awards. The awards are sponsored by Indiana Business magazine and by BKD, LLP. The awards recognize business excellence, rewarding organizations for demonstrating a commitment to business excellence through the improvement of a product, service or business practice; based on the idea that improving businesses improve Indiana, and thereby make it a better place to live, work and play. The ceremony was held at the Indiana Convention Center on Thursday, October 7th, 2004. Three recipients from each of six categories were awarded first, second, and third place respectively. Those categories were: Health Care, Manufacturing & Distribution (large & small), Not-for-Profit & Government, Service and Technology. ProTrans received the second place or silver award in the Large Manufacturing & Distribution category. Receiving top honors in the category was Endress + Hauser, Inc. of Greenwood, Indiana. Tying for third award was Dana - Hose & Tubing Products of Angola and Temple-Inland Graphics Resource Center of Indianapolis. About ProTrans International, Inc.
